Catherine is an associate in the firm’s trademark practice, where she handles all aspects of trademark prosecution and trademark licensing matters, including filing applications, oppositions, cancellations, availability searches and clearance opinions, brand management strategy, renewals, infringement opinions, international prosecutions, and license agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Catherine was a consultant in the Legal & Business Affairs department of an international television network headquartered in Washington, D.C., where she focused on domestic intellectual property management as well as corporate transactions and due diligence concerning the network’s digital platforms. She also obtained substantial experience handling trademark prosecution, copyright, and licensing matters at a Washington, D.C. based intellectual property law firm. Her prior professional experience includes patent prosecution support, copyright research for a large performing rights organization, researching Swiss, French, and International trademark law and policy and corporate transactional work for a Swiss law firm.

While pursuing her J.D. and LL.M. degrees, Catherine received a Certificate in European Legal Studies through a program hosted by the Université Panthéon-Assas Paris II in Paris, France and also completed an Intellectual Property Law program at the Max-Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition, and Tax Law in Munich, Germany. She also completed Tulane University Law School’s Sports Law Certificate program.
